The Australian Working at Heights Association ,WAHA , has released a Code of Practice for Height Safety Installers.
This Code seeks to raise the Industry work quality standard and ultimately giving greater confidence for the consumer.
We have real concerns about the lack of competency and the application of inappropriate safety standards by some companies and individuals performing height safety equipment installation work.
The Code of Practice has been framed after extensive consultation and input from a wide range of Industry, Government and end user stakholders.
